The Association of Friends is a group of parents and teachers who meet on a monthly basis during term time and put on a number of very enjoyable fundraising events throughout the academic year. These events include Bonfire Night Fireworks, a Christmas Fayre, Carols & Fizz and a Summer Fête.
With the support of the Blue Coat School community, funds have been raised and a number of items have been purchased to enhance the children’s school life. Recently these have included extra play equipment for the Early Years playground refurbishment, a new minibus, picnic tables and chairs, a buddy stop, air hockey and table football for the Prep Houses, as well as additional stage lighting. The Friends have also been able to support local charities including The Edward’s Trust, The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and The National Institute of Conductive Education (NICE).
