All children from Pre-Prep upwards wear the Blue Coat school uniform. Pupils should return in summer uniform in September. From 9 October until half-term either summer or winter uniform may be worn. From half-term onwards all pupils should be in winter uniform.

The winter Pre-Prep uniform is based on a tartan pattern, which features in the form of a pinafore dress for the girls, accompanied by a polo jumper for the children of Transition and Reception, and a sky blue blouse for those in Years 1 and 2. The boys wear a long-sleeved sky blue shirt, an elasticated tie made of the tartan material, and charcoal trousers. There are cardigans for the girls and pullovers for the boys: these, together with the blouses and shirts, feature the school crest.

In the summer the girls wear a blue striped summer dress of the same style as the Prep summer dress, and the boys wear shorts and a blue shirt embroidered with the Blue Coat crest.

For their winter uniform the girls of Years 3 and 4 in Prep have a choice of pinafore dress or skirt in the tartan pattern; for Years 5 and 6 they wear the skirt. Accompanying this is a sky blue blouse with a rever collar, and a cardigan, both of which feature the school crest.

The boys wear a tartan tie, a sky blue shirt with crest, and a pullover with crest. Trousers must be of the regulation colour.

For the summer the girls wear a blue striped summer dress, and the boys wear a blue short-sleeved shirt with crest.

The children in Prep wear a House badge on their blazer, which features both the school crest and the appropriate House name and colour. Waterproof ‘Result’ jackets provide an additional outer layer in cold weather.
